Why should I become a member?
Quite simply we need your support to preserve and improve upon public access for future generations, to support others locally and nationally to do the same and to be able to continue with all the fun stuff!
Why should I pay to become a member?
The SDBG is a volunteer group. Annual subscriptions are used as follows:
- to pay for membership to the BHS, which provides insurance cover for our events
- to susidise the cost of Pleasure Rides & other events and causes such as the Public Inquiry into Rowley Lane
- to sponsor local not for profit ventures such as joint events with the Countryside Access Group
- to fund purchases such as mounting blocks at Rowley Lane
Can anyone join?
Yes, anyone can join regardless of where they live – all we ask is that you agree to abide by the Countryside Code and the conditions listed for use of SDBG permissive tracks.
How can I become involved?
We welcome any comments for improvement or new ideas and are always looking for volunteers – even if you can only spare a few hours.
